Helping you meet your health care needs
If you are an existing FedEx employee, you and your covered spouse can each earn an extra $100 credit/contribution toward your Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) for 2024 if you enroll in an eligible FedEx medical plan option administered by UHC (including the Type 2 Diabetes option but excluding the new Your Choice option) or Kaiser (except Kaiser SFO). To be eligible for the earned credit, you must watch this video by the end of enrollment and be enrolled in an eligible medical plan option on January 1, 2024. If enrolled in an HSA medical plan option, your Health Savings Account must be open and active on January 1, 2024, to receive the earned contribution.
After watching the video, you and your covered spouse will be asked to acknowledge that you watched the video. Optum Financial, the HRA and HSA administrator for FedEx, will deposit the appropriate credit into your HRA for 2024 if you are enrolled in a medical plan option with an HRA. If you are enrolled in an HSA-eligible medical plan option, Optum Financial will fund the appropriate amount into your HSA for 2024, provided you have opened your account.
This site is best experienced in Edge, Chrome, and Firefox. If you have trouble viewing the video, please use one of these preferred browsers.
Earned credits/contributions will be $100 for each employee and covered spouse who enroll in an eligible medical plan option and watch and acknowledge the video by November 2, 2023.
The new Your Choice option does not come with an account. If you enroll in this option, you are not eligible for the earned HRA credits or HSA contributions provided by FedEx.
A catch-up period will be available in early 2024 for new enrollees. New enrollees eligible for the catch-up period include employees and/or spouses added to the plan during the 2024 Annual Benefits Enrollment period and new hires enrolled in 2024 benefits. New enrollees must also be eligible for FedEx medical benefits in 2023 to be eligible for this catch-up period.
